Getting Started with CardioEducator™

A hands-on learning model designed to help learners visualize normal circulation and congenital heart defects through active exploration and clinical reasoning.

What’s Included:

  • White pieces: normal cardiac anatomy

  • Gray pieces: congenital heart defect variations

    • Triangular: Patent Ductus Arteriosus

    • Rectangular: ASD or Foramen Ovale

    • Hexagonal: Pulmonary Stenosis

    • Pentagonal: Ventral Septal Defect

  • Colored Cords to trace blood flow through the heart

    • Red Cord: Oxygenated blood flow

    • Blue Cord: Deoxygenated blood flow

    • Purple Cord: Mixed Blood flow
