Our Story

NursEdvance Innovations began with a simple classroom challenge: helping nursing students understand some of the most complex conditions in pediatrics. As a pediatric nursing professor, Dr. Stephanie Schaller saw her students struggling to grasp congenital heart defects—critical content for both licensure exams and patient care.  The search for effective teaching tools came up short as commercial teaching models were costly, limited, and often inadequate for student needs.

Harnessing the growing accessibility of 3D printing, Dr. Schaller and her faculty team collaborated with engineers to design an interactive, puzzle-like heart model that allows students to build and visualize multiple defects using a single, cost-effective tool. What started as a classroom solution quickly grew into CardioEducator, a scalable innovation that improves comprehension, boosts engagement, and prepares students for real-world practice.

This success sparked the launch of NursEdvance Innovations, a company dedicated to creating evidence-based, technology-driven tools that transform learning. From 3D-printed models to AI-enhanced study aids, every product we develop is grounded in research and designed to make learning more engaging, accessible, and effective for the next generation of nurses.
