Study Navigator

Study Navigator is an AI-enhanced study tool developed by University of South Carolina College of Nursing faculty to promote critical thinking and knowledge application. It offers two distinct study modes:

A physical 3D-printed die that students can use independently to quiz themselves on medical conditions using clinical prompts (e.g., pathophysiology, priority interventions, complications)

An AI-driven component powered by ChatGPT that generates adaptive, case-based scenarios in response to student input.

Students can study with either component or use them together: rolling a die to select a prompt and then working through a scenario with the AI.

This scaffolded approach engages diverse learning preferences and aligns with Gen Z’s desire for personalized, interactive learning.
